Earlier this summer an ad agency in Boulder (Crispin Porter + Bogusky) hired me and Jim to photograph a few children for a Volkswagen ad they’re putting together, which will be running in the Verizon Center in Washington D.C. (the Wizard’s stadium). Though commerical photography/studio setting is not what I would typically consider my “normal” realm, I rarely turn down the opportunity to work with new types of clients and explore new territory. I was thrilled to have the opportunity to work on a national ad, and enjoyed working with all of the talented designers and artists at Crispin Porter.
Here’s one of the first kids from the shoot…and in case you’re looking at his face thinking….WOW….Angie must be the most boring photographer alive….that was the look the art director was going for in the ad campaign….(the kids were SUPPOSED to look bored/tired/lost/confused)
