Skyla brought me a pot of white mini roses after her photo session, which officially puts her high on the list of sweetest-seniors-I’ve-ever-photographed. :)
Throughout Skyla’s session I kept trying to figure out who she reminded me of. I couldn’t figure it out until I was editing through the photos and came to this one. Anyone else seeing a Drew Barrymore/Britney Spears resemblance or do I just love playing the celebrity look-alike game?
Photo sessions like Nancy’s reaffirm my (slightly) biased opinion that being a photographer is one of the best jobs ever. :)

I shot lots and lots of senior portraits this summer and fall (most of them still unblogged). I made it a goal early in the season to shoot at as many “new” locations as possible and to try and avoid shooting more than a couple of sessions at a location I’d already shot at. I feel like it helps me stay “fresh” and approach every session with a creative mind. For Kelly’s senior portrait session we wandered around her favorite childhood park near her home in Boulder. Tons-o-fun! :)

I love that Jessica picked out this image as one of her favorites from her senior portrait session. :) :)
