Aya & Fletch | Vail Wedding

Aya and Fletch were married just outside of Vail Colorado at Fletch’s parents’ beautiful home on this mountaintop:

Gina & Kevin | Lyons CO Farm Wedding

From the moment that I first met Gina & Kevin I was fairly certain that I was going to love their wedding. I was absolutely sure of it when I talked with Gina a few weeks prior to the big day and learned that she had raided her aunt and uncle’s antique shop for items to place around the Farmette for their wedding.  I absolutely LOVED their Lyons farm wedding.  Below are a few of my favorite shots from the day:I’m a huge fan of clean design and beautiful typography.  These invitations/save the dates were SO PERFECT and fit so well with the vibe of the day.An old croquet set.  Are you kidding me??? Loved it! Edible wedding favors are the best.  + lovely tag & cute jars on top of a stack of vintage wooden boxes  = best-est.

Gina and Kevin love biking.  The officiant tied that love into their ceremony by comparing life (and marriage) to a mountain bike ride.  While the goal is to make it to the end, the hope is to enjoy the ride along the way.  Find joy in the journey.  Such good advice that I try to remind myself of on a daily (or at least weekly!) basis. :) A quick post-ceremony tandem bike ride!Biscuits & Berries served a fantastic BBQ dinner at a long family-style table.

Kimberly & Eli | Chatfield Botanic Gardens | Denver Wedding

Despite a heavy 20-minute downpour midday, there was so much to love about this wedding–the colors, the people, the pops of “peacock,” the many moments throughout the day I found myself and everyone around me tearing up, the personalized wedding vows–I could go on and on. :)  I was so happy to be able to document Kimberly & Eli’s Chatfield Botanic Gardens wedding.   Getting ready at the Magnolia in downtown Denver….Check out those socks!

Angie Wilson Photography | Featured: Style Me Pretty | Farm-to-Table Wedding

Earlier this year I teamed up with some of the best wedding vendors in Colorado and shot a Farm-to-Table themed “inspiration” wedding at Frog Belly Farm just north of Boulder.  On Friday our shoot was featured on my favorite wedding blog–Style Me Pretty.  Click here to see the feature (and you can be sure that I will be doing a proper post with lots of images sometime later this year when I have a bit more time).

Kirsten & Tom | Chateaux at Fox Meadows | Broomfield Wedding

Kirsten and Tom were married on a HOT HOT day (on the 4th of July!).  Posted below are a few of my favorite images from their wedding:Kirsten and her bridesmaids got ready for the day at On Broadway in Boulder. The ceremony was in Longmont at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church (where Kirsten works as an intern pastor).A quick stop for photos on our way to Broomfield in this lovely field that Jim and I spotted… The reception was at the Chateaux in Broomfield (with amazing flowers by Pastures of Plenty).

Sara & Andy | Denver Colorado Wedding | Harper Humanities Gardens | Artwork Network

Sara and Andy booked Jim and I over a year ago before they had even decided on a wedding venue which scored them MAJOR BONUS POINTS from me.  Putting wedding photography so high on the priority list = the best type of clients = Sara & Andy.   :)

They started the day in downtown Denver at the Sheraton where they got ready.  I loved Sara’s sparkly Jimmy Choo’s:  Sara’s lovely bouquet (by Cori Cook Floral Design) was wrapped with material from Sara’s mom’s hat that she had worn at her wedding. The ceremony was at the Harper Humanities Gardens at DU.The reception was at the Artwork Network in south Denver which was surrounded by TONS of great photo spots.I loved this angle Jim found, and I’ll admit, I was kind of jealous that he found it and not me.On our way back into the Artwork Network I threw my camera into manual focus and purposely took an out of focus shot which resulted in this.  Weird? Perhaps. Awesome? I think so.Just a few of my favorite shots from the fun-filled night:

Hahahaha.  When I first saw this photo I laughed.  Out loud. (and not just because my hair looks like I stepped out of a terrible 80′s movie). I have NO IDEA what I’m saying here, but it looks intense.
