Last weekend I joined Regan and Matt in Kentucky to photograph their fabulous wedding at the Gardencourt in Louisville.  The rolling green hills and beautiful architechure was a nice change of pace from my more typical lineup of Rocky Mountain weddings.  :)

 

With the wedding ceremony ending just slightly before sunset, Matt and Regan decided to do a first look to allow more time for photos pre-ceremony.  I’m a fan of first looks. :) A few pre-ceremony moments:Even though we took lots of photos of Matt and Regan before the ceremony we snuck in just a few more afterwards as well.  The light was just a bit too yummy to pass up:Matt painted the bride and groom cake topper–I think he did a fantastic job! At every wedding there’s always a moment (or two…or three) that makes me teary-eyed.  At this one, Regan and Matt’s first dance was definitely it!  :)

A few pre-ceremony moments:Danielle and Nicolai hired a talented group of musicians (a guitarist, violinist and accordionist) to play their prelude and processional music–which I instantly recognized as the theme music from Amelie (my FAVORITE movie).  To say I LOVED LOVED LOVED it would be an understatement. :)

The flowers (by Petals) set along the pews filled the church with the most wonderful scent. It’s no secret that I love wedding shoe shots!

Dinner and dancing (and dessert!) was at the Rembrandt House in downtown Boulder.
