So….you may have noticed the blog was pretty sparse in 2014. Our daughter had surgery. Twice. Then we bought a house. Sold ours. Moved. Started some serious renovating. Hardwood floors. Removed some walls. Relocated the kitchen. The drama continues in 2015 as we are still mid-renovation. But as of last week I have COUNTERTOPS IN MY KITCHEN. And a KITCHEN SINK! Somehow those two details make me feel like life is going to be slightly more manageable from here on out. I’m back.
2014 was packed with weddings/engagements, fabulous senior photo sessions, fun family portraits and joyful baby’s first year sessions….but you would hardly know it from the blog. :-/ So today I begin to attempt a catch-up. Perhaps over the next month or two I’ll get a small fraction of what happened last year on the blog.
These two images are from early 2014, so they seem like a good place to start. Ashley and Brian (who, you probably remember, were married at Chief Hosa in August) are so fun and outdoorsy, and I loved that they brought a bike along to incorporate into a few of their downtown Denver engagement photos:
