It’s been a little while…but I’m back. Hello again. I hope you enjoyed the holiday season!
Here’s what we’ve been up to the past two weeks:
Christmas was good. I was a bit nervous that James and Colin would be out of their beds at the crack of dawn to see what goodies Santa brought. Amazingly they weren’t (which is strange, because on Christmas Eve, James dashed out of bed at 6 am screaming, “it’s CHRISTMAS EVE!!!” When I told him that nothing special happens on Christmas Eve, he started screaming again –only this time, shrieking screams of a disappointed 4-year-old). Somehow we got lucky, and on Christmas day they slept until 8 am. They opened presents and then we headed to Grandma’s house for more.
Colin on the way to my parents’ house. Obviously having a super-fabulous day. :)
Enjoying more presents and treats.
Lots of sledding–at apparently the only hill in Longmont where everyone comes to sled.
I made Jim wear my hat after realizing that hat + trying to looking through the camera’s viewfinder = bad choice.
James, Jim and Colin built an igloo in our backyard (sorry, no photo of the igloo).
Skiing/snowboarding. I decided not to risk the life of one of my “real” cameras, so these all came from my five-year-old, 2 megapixel point and shoot camera.
On the lift:
Now…back to work! :)
