When deciding on a location for a senior portrait session Jim and I first like to find out if there is a place of significance to our client. Though I have a handful of locations I shoot at in and around Longmont, it’s exciting to switch it up and shoot somewhere new–especially when the location means something to the person being photographed in it. Mari’s was one of those sessions. I shot Mari’s senior portraits at Blue Cloud Farm in between Boulder and Longmont–where she visits regularly to ride and take care of her horse Cooper.
