This photo makes me happy. So so SO happy. I love it.
It hit me early in October that we could use a new family photo. I realized that most photographers were probably already all booked up for the month, and that as soon as the weather turned chilly, we’d have missed our chance for 2012. So I called Jim and told him to meet us on his way home from Boulder for an impromptu, self-timer family portrait session. Afterwards I told him that if we had just got one good one I would be happy. You have an adorable family! Isn’t it funny that when you are least expecting it, you can get the best shots? I bet if you’d hired someone that wouldn’t have been the case. :-) Maybe.
